Job Overview Under the direction of the Energy Sales & Marketing Manager, generates profitable sales in the assigned territory through target marketing, competitive analysis, and providing value-added energy products, services, and recommendations. Ensures the creditworthiness of customers and promotes credit programs.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing plans and sales strategies that generate profitable sales in the assigned territory.
Utilize target marketing and professional sales techniques, including the FS sales interview roadmap, energy management programs, and feature-benefit emphasis, to call on patrons and prospects.
Develop territory and competitive analysis to maintain current knowledge of the marketplace and competition.
Provide value-added energy products, services, and recommendations to patrons and prospects.
Schedule product delivery to customer locations.
Conduct regular patron meetings on product and technical information.
Provide customer service by using oil testing, restocking, and other programs, follow up on complaints, and seek a win/win resolution.
Ensure the creditworthiness of customers, quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.
Promote the use of credit programs as a sales tool and help provide required information to establish credit.
Maintain the assigned vehicle per company standards and adhere to the uniform policy while presenting a professional image.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
College degree in marketing or another business-related discipline.
At least 2 years of sales/marketing experience.
Demonstrated ability to generate profitable sales in an assigned territory.
Understanding of energy products and related sales techniques.
Strong sales ability, persuasiveness, and communication skills.
Compensation Exempt position. Salary range:
$70,000
–
$80,000
per year.
