The company is passionate about compliance, knowledge and community education in firearm sound suppression and has simplified silencer buying since 2005.
Shift: Primarily weekends (Typically Thursday through Sunday). The sales professional will attend 2‑3 trade shows a month, representing Silencer Central in their immediate location.
Job Summary: This dynamic, results‑driven Trade Show Sales Professional will be the public face of Silencer Central at premier industry events, expos, and trade shows locally. You will engage prospective customers, deliver compelling product presentations, and convert leads into immediate sales within a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Serve as a professional ambassador for Silencer Central at assigned trade shows, exhibitions, and events.
Proactively engage attendees to identify prospects, qualify leads, and capture customer information for follow‑up.
Deliver impactful product demonstrations and presentations, effectively communicating the features, benefits, and value of Silencer Central’s products and streamlined purchasing process.
Master and articulate the company’s value proposition, compliance process, and customer benefits to instill confidence and trust.
Drive the complete sales cycle on the trade‑show floor, from initial engagement through to closing the sale.
Overcome objections, address customer concerns, and tailor solutions to meet individual customer needs.
Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals and performance metrics set for event participation.
Maintain a professional, enthusiastic, and customer‑focused demeanor that reflects the company’s high standards.
Independently set up booths/tables.
Operate a computer and process sales.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Demonstrated success in B2C sales, ideally within trade shows, retail events, or a one‑call‑close environment.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to quickly build rapport.
Self‑motivated, disciplined, and driven by results with a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
Willingness and ability to travel, with availability to work weekends as needed.
Familiarity with the hunting, firearms, or outdoor industry strongly preferred.
Compensation
100 % commission only role.
