Responsibilities As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll grow the customer base and drive branch profitability by building strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering value‑added plumbing solutions that meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining a 90%+ customer satisfaction score.
Engage customers through proactive outreach, accurate quoting, and timely follow‑ups to ensure project success and repeat business.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consistently expanding accounts and strengthening customer loyalty.
Track regional sales targets, drive revenue growth, and deliver exceptional customer experiences reflecting the Reece standard.
Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, produce accurate quotes, and ensure timely follow‑up that drives repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Manage multiple customers, timelines, and priorities while ensuring seamless project execution and on‑time order fulfillment.
Monitor sales trends, forecast opportunities, and implement initiatives that consistently improve regional performance.
Recommend optimal solutions that align with project goals and profitability, using expert product knowledge.
Maintain a customer‑first attitude and step in wherever needed to support customers and maintain a high standard of service.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required); bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or account management in wholesale distribution, plumbing supply, or construction‑related industry.
Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Proficiency with CRM systems – Eclipse.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment while delivering exceptional customer value.
Customer‑first attitude with flexibility to support customers wherever needed.
Physical and Mental Requirements
Attendance – Ability to maintain scheduled days and hours, including onsite presence at the assigned location.
Physical – Lift up to 25 pounds on occasion, sit and stand for extended periods.
Operation of office equipment – Computer, copier, and other common office equipment use, including near vision and manual dexterity.
Oral communication skills – Speaking, speech clarity, and speech recognition.
Written communication skills – Writing, reading, and written comprehension.
