The Account Executive, Expansion, MM, is responsible for driving growth within existing mid‑market accounts by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling. This role focuses on strengthening relationships with current clients, understanding their business objectives, and delivering customized solutions that enhance their success. Reporting to the Team Lead of Sales, this role is essential for driving significant revenue growth and reinforcing Deel’s commitment to providing value and support to its clients. Responsibilities

Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain product value Manage the full sales cycle for renewals, upsell and cross‑sell using cross‑departmental expertise as primary resources Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client needs fulfilment Proactively engage cross‑functionally to bring new product development, client engagement and competitive intelligence strategies to the larger team Meet or exceed monthly and yearly revenue targets Maintain accurate SFDC data: accounts, opportunities, pipeline and forecasts Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes Act as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience Build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally Qualifications

At least 3–5 years of experience in sales, specifically within mid‑market account management or a similar role focused on expansion. Proven ability to establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in mid‑market organizations. Experience using a consultative approach to understand client needs and propose effective solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of effectively conveying ideas and engaging with clients. Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems and data analysis to track account performance and identify growth opportunities. A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and understanding client challenges. Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, including customer success, marketing, and product development. Native or fully proficient in English. Extensive experience managing B2B clients and expanding the business footprint within UK&I. Total Rewards
