High-Level Job Description We’re seeking an Account Manager who thrives at the intersection of client relationships, culture, and creativity. This role is responsible for leading day‑to‑day client business, building trust, and driving campaigns that break through in pop culture. Reporting to an Account Director, this position combines sharp strategic thinking with flawless execution, serving as both a trusted advisor to clients and a collaborative partner to internal teams. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented, solutions‑focused marketer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about culture, entertainment, and brand storytelling.

Detailed Job Description/Responsibilities

Client & Account Management:

Serve as the day‑to‑day contact for brand clients, ensuring clear communication and on‑time deliverables.

Support the strategic planning and execution of campaigns in partnership with Account Directors and senior leadership.

Manage internal workflows and project trackers, keeping cross‑functional teams aligned on deadlines, budgets, and scopes.

Draft and maintain account service documents including agendas, recaps, proposals, and status reports.

Provide proactive, solutions‑driven communication to clients and internal teams.

Strategy & Ideation:

Contribute to concept development for campaigns by bringing cultural insights, industry research, and fresh ideas to the table.

Stay plugged into entertainment, music, influencer, and marketing trends to inform creative recommendations.

Partner with internal teams on brand activations, sponsorship opportunities, and integrated campaign tactics.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, agency partners, vendors, and talent partners.

Collaborate across departments to ensure strategy and execution are aligned.

Identify opportunities for client engagement and added value.

Operational & Financial Stewardship:

Track budgets, invoices, and scopes, supporting accurate reconciliation and financial reporting.

Ensure adherence to agency processes and project documentation standards.

Support on‑site activations and events, including travel and flexible work hours as needed.

Other Qualifications and Requirements:

Meet or exceed client expectations regarding knowledge and professionalism.

Handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information.

Communicate effectively internally and externally in a manner consistent with the company’s Code of Conduct and core values.

Be willing to work during non‑business hours, including weekends and additional hours beyond the 40‑hour work week as needed.

Required Competencies and Skills

3–5 years of experience in entertainment marketing, music, brand partnerships, or a related field.

Strong organizational and project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities.

Understanding of integrated marketing campaigns across PR, digital, social, influencer, and experiential.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate across teams.

Creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial, proactive mindset.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Keynote; familiarity with project management and time‑tracking software preferred.

Problem‑solving mentality with the ability to think independently and challenge oneself to learn and grow.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with varying deadlines.

Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Additional Preferences/Not Required

Agency marketing experience in account management or brand management role.

Experience managing multiple enterprises or large brands as clients.

Experience with Basecamp or other Project Management Software.

Experience with time‑tracking software.

Education Required

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Marketing Management, Journalism, Communications, Music Business, General Business, or a related field.
