The Sales Representative is responsible for consultative sales, customer service activities, and project management activities while developing and strengthening relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.

Qualifications

Knowledge of construction business and/or 1‑year prior related experience helpful but not necessary.

Professional demeanor, strong sales and customer service skills, initiative, goal‑orientation, and self‑motivation with a strong work ethic.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively read, speak and write the English language.

Attention to detail and creativity in assisting customers; resourceful and networking to provide complete customer satisfaction.

Basic math skills required and ability to read a tape measure. Blueprint/specs reading ability helpful but not necessary.

Basic computer skills including use of email, calendar for scheduling, and design software.

Ability to work productively in office, at home, or at jobsite, using good judgment and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Consultative sales to residential builders and commercial contractors.

Customer service activities, addressing inquiries and providing support throughout the project lifecycle.

Project management tasks such as coordinating with vendors, tracking deliverables, and ensuring on‑time completion.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with homeowners, builders, and contractors, generating leads and follow‑up inquiries.

Prepare sales quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure accurate submittals and terms of sale.

Monitor accounts receivables, follow up with clients on payments, and take appropriate action to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
