We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven applicant to join our team. This role involves working closely with our team to ensure no negative reimbursement to the hospital or penalty to the patient is occurring and to identify, analyze, and resolve claim denials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Denial Management:
Review and analyze denied claims to identify root causes and potential solutions. Research and interpret payer policies and procedures to ensure accurate claim submission. Resolve issues related to provider enrollment and credentialing. Develop and implement strategies to reduce denial rates and improve claim reimbursement.
Insurance Follow-Up:
Timely follow-up on denied claims with insurance payers to expedite resolution. Appeal denied claims as necessary, providing clear and concise documentation to support appeals. Track and monitor the status of all denied claims, ensuring timely resolution.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work collaboratively with the staff to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively with insurance payers, providers, and other stakeholders. Participate in meetings and provide updates on any insurance changes
Requires pre-certification of scheduled onsite office visits and procedures to ensure no negative reimbursement to the hospital or penalty to the patient is incurred. Requires excellent communication, professional and courteous service with all staff members. Must have strong communication, multi-tasking skills and organizational skills. Education and Experience
Completion of High School or GED required. Two to four years’ experience in a physician office, hospital registration, collection agency, hospital or professional billing or training at an educational institution that includes medical billing and customer service.
