Account Manager – What Is It? We are seeking motivated Account Managers to manage and grow a territory through cold calling B2B prospecting, building relationships, maintaining inventory and equipment, and placing orders. A blend of sales and service goals provides variety. Successful candidates communicate with customers and internal teams, and are resourceful, flexible and resilient.
Position Responsibilities
Achieve sales goals: prospecting, cold calling, networking and upselling.
Create brand awareness.
Build relationships and demonstrate product capabilities.
Implement and sell innovative customer programs to create unique value.
Manage a given territory and interact directly with current and potential customers.
Service commercial businesses, federal, state and local buildings, educational facilities, and health care/industrial buildings.
Education, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Local market area travel using a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
Must live within the territory applied for.
Ability and desire to service customers.
Computer proficient.
