The role is field‑based with home‑office flexibility and requires travel primarily within the region, with some national travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver territory‑level sales and market share targets for Moderna’s vaccine portfolio.
Own end‑to‑end territory and key account management, independently shaping plans based on regional vaccination dynamics such as seasonality or rural distribution.
Establish and expand strategic partnerships with physicians, vaccination centres, and pharmacies, looking beyond conventional engagement channels.
Design and implement new commercial engagement formats including digital HCP outreach, hybrid event strategies, online/offline models, and pharmacy‑led initiatives.
Act as an internal advocate for digital and scalable engagement solutions within your region.
Continuously analyse local market, competitive intelligence, and customer needs to shape actionable territory‑specific strategies.
Travel extensively within the assigned region, with flexibility to operate effectively from a home‑office environment.
Required Qualifications
Completed university degree in business administration, pharmaceutical sciences, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification.
5–7 years of professional experience in field sales or territory management within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with experience in vaccines or infectious diseases.
Proven track record in developing new channels or commercial pathways beyond traditional models.
Strong digital affinity with experience using and building digital tools and channels (CRM systems, e‑detailings, HCP online engagement, messaging platforms).
Entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership mentality, and high willingness to travel and work flexibly.
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills; fluent in German and English (required).
Pay & Benefits
Best‑in‑class healthcare, plus voluntary benefit programmes to support your unique needs.
A holistic approach to well‑being with access to fitness, mindfulness, and mental health support.
Family building benefits, including fertility, adoption, and surrogacy support.
