Full-Time Job Summary: The Account Executive is responsible for managing client accounts and driving sales growth. Key duties include developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions, conducting market research to inform sales strategies, and tracking sales performance against targets. Successful candidates will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a background in sales or the relevant industry. This position is essential for achieving company goals and enhancing client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Maintain working relationships with assigned client base to cultivate business. Grow account base in territory by closing new business in all service categories we offer (i.e. Exports- LCL/FCL/AIR/Project Cargo. Imports-LCL/FCL/AIR/FTF/Project Cargo) Inform and educate our customers on our rates, regulations/procedures regarding all aspects of our business. Review accounts to identify problems, proposed changes in pickup, schedules, rates, handling requirements, etc. Spend 2 - 3 days per week visiting clients in face-to-face meetings. Follow up with customers to discuss and resolve problems. Maintain working relationships with agents at destination and other sales colleagues (i.e. Sales Liaisons) to exchange leads and work as team to close business for the organization. Qualifications: Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Work well in a team setting. Complete administrative tasks correctly and on time. Prior Industry (NVOCC/Freight Forwarding) is a MUST. 2+ years of Sales Experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. ECU Worldwide is an equal opportunity employer.
