About the Role AccountMakers is hiring an entry‑level Account Executive for a remote position based in the Los Angeles metro area. The role requires occasional local travel to meet clients and attend team events.
Responsibilities As an Account Executive, you’ll support the full sales cycle: learning how to prospect, conduct discovery calls, deliver product walkthroughs, prepare proposals, and assist in closing new business. You’ll work with warm leads generated by marketing and sales development teams, while also contributing to targeted outbound efforts. You’ll partner closely with senior AEs, sales leadership, and customer success to ensure prospects receive a smooth, consultative experience. Success is measured through activity goals, pipeline contribution, and overall deal support.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in sales, customer‑facing, or support roles.
0–2+ years of professional experience in sales, business development, customer service, or related fields (internships welcome).
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and engage prospects effectively.
Interest in developing skills across prospecting, discovery, product demos, and basic negotiation.
Comfortable learning new software tools, sales processes, and product knowledge in a fast‑moving environment.
Highly organized with solid time management and ability to balance multiple tasks and follow‑ups.
Motivated, coachable, and eager to grow into a quota‑carrying SaaS sales role.
Must reside in the Los Angeles area and be able to travel locally for client meetings as needed.
Compensation Base salary ranges from $55,000 to $75,000+ annually, with on‑target earnings (OTE) between $80,000 and $105,000+ depending on experience and commission structure. A comprehensive benefits package and clear growth path toward mid‑market and enterprise sales roles are also provided.
