Responsibilities
Providing direction and guidance to Major Account Executives, strategically planning to enable quota attainment across the regions
Contributing to overall business strategy and planning while engaging with leaders across the company
Supporting the regions in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and bookings goals.
Working with cross functional teams to ensure alignment and resources.
Leading the team by recruiting, retaining, and developing a deep bench ensuring the continuity of the business
Qualifications
Have 10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
Demonstrate experience managing multiple Sales teams with proven success leading teams to over‑achieve quarterly and annual quotas
Have demonstrated success in developing and implementing successful sales processes and building and leading best‑in‑class sales teams
Possess excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Have experience in leading and developing managers to help build out the team and future leaders
Have demonstrated ability to show effective and impactful experience with existing customers

Compensation Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only – The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $199,300 – $413,900/year; a candidate’s OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
