Job Description In search for an experienced multifamily community manager for one of our Manufactured Housing communities. We are a rapidly growing company with multiple advancement opportunities for the right individual. The Property Manager will focus primarily on community management, resident retention/relations, and daily operations. You will both sell and rent homes as well as lease lots for those who purchase outside of our company and want to be a part of our family. The best candidate will be extremely personable, detail-oriented, task-oriented, and committed to excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Attract tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units.
Collect rents, pay bills, forecast requirements, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective action to achieve financial objectives.
Maintain property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units, completing repairs, planning renovations, and contracting with landscaping and snow removal services.
Secure property by maintaining security devices, establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures, and responding to emergencies.
Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
Negotiate leases and collect security deposits.
Qualifications
3‑5 years of experience in multi‑family property management.
Team-oriented with an exceptionally strong work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills.
Problem‑solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Sales motivation, meeting sales goals, negotiation, selling to customer needs, territory management, closing skills, prospecting, professionalism, internal communications, listening, and communication processes.
Requires reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug test; positive attitude with desire to learn and excel in both team and independent work environments.
