Foundations Giving Coordinator – Wounded Warrior Project About the Role

– The Foundations Giving Coordinator supports the foundation revenue team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating data entry, and assisting with donor cultivation and stewardship initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the Foundations team and assist with communications planning.

Input and track data in relationship management databases, ensuring accurate information is properly integrated across all systems.

Support the Foundation Giving team with CRM requests and reporting.

Provide information to interested foundations, draft correspondence, and respond to emails.

Partner with the Donor Experience and Stewardship teams to execute donor acknowledgment, cultivation, and stewardship requests.

Complete weekly donor cultivation and stewardship reports.

Maintain regular communication and coordination with other Business Development Coordinators.

Collaborate with the Donor Research team to ensure the donor pipeline is accurately reflected and tracked in all systems.

Manage a small portfolio of foundation donors through stewardship, cultivation, and communication planning (email, mail, calls, and texts).

Attend and actively participate in required training and/or meetings, including orientation, suicide prevention, leadership, culture/team, and departmental huddles.

Other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, complete assignments, and meet deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong proofreading ability.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain collaborative working relationships.

Highly organized, self‑starter, and willing to take initiative.

Experience & Requirements

Two years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit development, or comparable experience.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience).

Preferred Qualifications

Two years of experience working with foundation donors.

Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM database.

None.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

General office environment; temperature controlled.

Up to 10% travel.

Ca‑pd.
