Ordering, receiving, merchandising and procurement of produce items. Inventory control and setting retail pricing for profit within company guidelines. Handling paperwork such as inventory records and invoices. Unstacking pallets of produce and unloading from delivery trucks into refrigerator or storage areas. Cleaning work area and retriming produce in cases, restocking cases. Using cutting, slicing and trimming utensils or equipment to perform job tasks. Training and supervising co‑workers within the department. Occasionally assisting in general receiving, stocking, checking and bagging groceries. Wrapping, weighing and pricing produce for customers. Operating electrical or power equipment such as a Hyster to move product. Essential Functions
Continuous handling of freight and produce throughout cooler and produce department. Repetitive use of arms, wrists and hands while stocking and trimming produce. Work in a standing/walking position for 7 hours a day. Lift and carry bulky materials and products weighing up to 50 lbs. Use basic math skills to calculate daily ordering and retail pricing. Desired Functions
Weigh, wrap and price products. Stock display cases. Take customer orders. Keep work station clean and sanitary. Seniority Level
