The Fresh Market is committed to making everyday eating extraordinary for our guests. We are looking for a new team member who will help deliver on this mission as part of our Deli/ CMS team. As our Assistant Deli Manager, you assist the Deli and CMS Manager with inventory management, pricing integrity, training, and other operational processes requiring attention to detail. This is a fast-paced position that drives results while delivering an impeccable guest and team member experience. Responsibilities
Greeting guests and proactively assisting them with accurate and timely information Making recommendations and accommodating requests Managing order guides, ordering deadlines, and reducing shrink/damage Properly receiving and stocking goods following rotation standards when replenishing product levels Directing teams to handle, slice, and prepare a variety of the department’s meat, cheeses, and CMS throughout the day Engaging, motivating, coaching, and training team members on the job and through The Fresh Market’s internal training platform to provide excellent guest service in a safe and secure manner Availability
This position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays. Qualifications
At a minimum, what you’ll need
3 plus years of experience in a guest service role 1 plus years of leadership experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Must be at least 18 years of age Benefits
