North American Alpha Capture and Broker Relations Manager New York, NY, US
Your Role
Managing the day-to-day operation of CFM's existing North American All-Star Alpha Capture program, which is live with US and Canadian contributors.
Building and maintaining these relationships with all sell-side brokers, as well as other Research providers and technology vendors, to identify best-in-class/best-fit to the Fund’s agenda.
Maintaining regular meeting schedules with brokers to deliver the Firms' expectations and to push the Funds' message.
Travel: Role requires travel around the Americas to meet with contributors and discover new opportunities.
Helping the team to operate a CFM-branded Alpha Capture front-end/portal, while proposing enhancements, from concept to implementation is also expected.
Maintaining all related data in the firm’s CRM and relevant counter-party databases.
Designing and implementing qualitative processes to keep performing contributors engaged and rewarded.
Candidates must be self-sufficient and have the ability to run day-to-day relationship tasks and regional management responsibilities, without oversight or micromanagement.
Your Skills Core Experience
5+ years of external-facing experience in financial markets (e.g., Equity Sales, Trading, FinTech Sales/Implementation, Advisory, Broker Relations, or relevant buy-side roles).
Deep expertise in Equity Markets, specifically Equity Finance and the Alpha Capture space (gained as a former/current contributor for sell-side, buy-side Alpha Capture Fund, or tech provider).
Mature understanding of markets and Alpha Capture as a revenue business.
Key Skills & Attributes
Proven ability to generate successful commercial relationships with financial institutions and vendors.
Advanced user of MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint) and Bloomberg.
Strong Presentation & Interpersonal Skills; Excellent written and verbal communication.
High confidence in self-managing ability, projecting competence in all external engagements.
Highly self-motivated, possessing a strong work ethic and determination.
A curious and adaptable individual, eager to learn and pick up new tools.
A close and collaborative partner to managers and global team members.
Plus: Familiarity with scripting or query languages (e.g., Python) is a benefit.
Base salary 200-260K USD depending on experience
+ variable compensation
