Experience Senior Living is seeking a
Resident Experience Ambassador
to join our team. The team is comprised of professionals who empower people as they grow older to live life to the fullest, including caregivers, nurses, researchers, programmers, marketers, facilitators, developers, investors, and others focused on making a positive impact on residents, families, and team members. Responsibilities
Will help facilitate socials, games, crafts, cooking, movies, outings, outdoor time, and other activities as per the monthly/daily schedule Work with the Resident Experience team to bring new ideas and encourage others to offer suggestions to add to monthly planned programs Assist in creating and adjusting the Resident Experience plan for each resident Ensure each resident has a copy of the monthly activity calendar Invite, engage, and encourage participation from all residents to the extent they are comfortable participating Assist in bringing residents to and from all activities Use Lifeloop to document all attendance at planned activities and 1:1 interactions Identify and report to the Resident Experience Director any personal, emotional, cognitive, or environmental concerns that limit participation in activities Able to maintain a customer focus, treating others with respect and integrity May drive the company van or vehicle as required by the community May perform other duties as assigned Requirements
Previous experience in organizing activities or event planning preferred One to two years of working with seniors preferred Demonstrates the ability to use independent judgment and discretion to act in the resident’s best interest Ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and through pictures when necessary Able to operate standard office equipment Ability to utilize technology effectively, including computers, iPad/tablet, Word, internet, email, social media, and Resident Experience software platforms Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record per company policy Able to think creatively and independently to meet objectives Able to create and generate innovative solutions and programs Able to solve problems with sound judgment, including when dealing with emotional topics Identifies, obtains, and allocates resources required to achieve goals Able to relate to routine operations in a manner consistent with existing solutions Able to work with people in a team setting to achieve goals and deliver results Expected to represent the Resident Experience department by being punctual, neat, clean, and professional in appearance Ability to work varying schedules to include weekends, evenings, and holidays Benefits
