What will you be doing?

As Groups & Reservations Executive, you will oversee the Reservations Team to maximise revenue and guest satisfaction and work with the Reservations Team & Commercial Director to develop future and repeat business. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Reservations Department

Manage telephone and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

Understand seasonal and historical trends and work within them to ensure maximum occupancy and average room rates

Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue with a focus on Groups

Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business

Ensure Team Members are developed effectively, and generate a culture of high quality standards for relationship building and customer service,

What are we looking for?

Previous experience in the Reservations/Sales function within the hotel/leisure sector preferably in a Supervisor or Team Leader role

Having a qualification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or another similar field is advantageous

Strong influencing and communication skills and an ability to handle a variety of clients

A passion for guest service and hotels

Ability to apply good judgement & work to strict deadlines

Excellent organisational, planning and administrative skills including knowledge of inventory management

Proven sales skills and ability to develop relationships

Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail

A highly professional, confident telephone manner

Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with a Guest

Computer literate and able to navigate through Company systems
