Business Travel and Leisure Sales Manager — Hyatt
We are seeking a dynamic, relationship‑driven Sales Manager to drive business travel and leisure sales for Hyatt. The ideal candidate will bring deep understanding of corporate, consortia, wholesale, and luxury leisure segments, and will negotiate favorable rates, manage key consortia and agency partnerships, and grow market share while delivering world‑class customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Solicit, negotiate, and manage Local and National corporate transient accounts.
Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow share, ADR, and overall production.
Utilize RFP platforms (Lanyon, RFP Express, etc.) to manage annual bid cycles and rate loading.
Conduct regular account reviews, travel to client offices, and host on‑property client events.
Manage participation in global and regional consortia programs and TMCs.
Ensure accurate rate loading, amenities, and program compliance across all platforms.
Build strong relationships with travel management companies and agency partners to increase visibility and production.
Represent the hotel at consortia events, roadshows, and industry conferences as needed.
Serve as the primary contact for Hyatt Privé and luxury travel advisor networks.
Conduct regular outreach to top‑producing advisors and agencies, providing updates, offers, and personalized support.
Host FAM trips, site inspections, and curated experiences that reflect the hotel’s brand and positioning.
Develop targeted promotions and value‑add packages to drive shoulder‑period demand.
Manage relationships with wholesale partners and FIT operators, ensuring rate integrity and alignment with revenue strategy.
Monitor production, pace, and channel mix to optimize profitability.
Collaborate with Revenue Management to evaluate new partners and seasonal opportunities.
Prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and quarterly business reviews.
Maintain organized documentation, reports, and account notes within CRM and Hyatt systems.
Collaborate closely with Revenue, Marketing, and Operations to ensure seamless execution of guest and partner expectations.
Participate in and occasionally lead sales meetings, event meetings, and cross‑departmental initiatives.
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and client activations; travel required as needed.
Salary Range $66,100 to $95,700.
Qualifications

Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Five (5) years of hotel sales experience preferred, managing corporate, consortia, or luxury leisure segments.
Proficiency with Hotelligence, Lanyon, RFP Express, Agency360, and general computer applications.
Completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent preferred.
Strong selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills.
Community involvement and/or professional association participation highly regarded.
