About the Role We’re building a local solar sales team in Central Illinois and are looking for motivated, ethical, and driven sales professionals who want to grow with a rapidly expanding renewable energy company.

This is a 1099 commission-based role with uncapped earning potential, full training, and strong backend support. If you’re hungry, coachable, and comfortable talking to homeowners, solar can be a career-level income—not just a job.

What You’ll Do

Educate homeowners on solar, energy efficiency, and available incentives

Generate and manage your own leads (door-to-door, referrals, events, networking)

Conduct in-home or virtual consultations

Review electric bills and qualify homeowners for solar solutions

Guide clients through the sales process with integrity and transparency

Collaborate with our operations team to ensure smooth installs and happy customers

What We’re Looking For

Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with homeowners

Sales experience preferred (solar, roofing, HVAC, home improvement, insurance, real estate, telecom, etc.)

Coachable mindset and willingness to learn solar quickly

Self-motivated and disciplined (this is not a clock-in/clock-out job)

Reliable transportation and smartphone/tablet

Comfortable working evenings and weekends when homeowners are available

Solar experience is a plus—but not required. We train the right people.

Compensation & Perks

Commission-only (1099)
