Regional Sales Manager - Las Vegas

Job Description Covering Las Vegas and surrounding areas, the selected Regional Sales Manager will develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with the company’s dealers, dealer sales force, direct accounts, and end users. The role will achieve all annual sales and performance goals, reporting to the Regional Sales Director and working together to accomplish the region’s annual business plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Report a monthly itinerary to the Regional Sales Director.
Report all significant activity in the region in a timely and accurate manner regarding product performance, competitive intelligence, dealer activity, sales strategy development, new product development, dealer issues, customer service, technical service, dealer profile updates, quarterly business reviews, weekly sales forecasts, and resolution of sales or product service issues.
Travel within the sales region following the established zone travel schedule to maintain, develop, and grow business with dealers, national accounts, and end‑users.
Dealer Sales Force Management
Direct and participate in developing, motivating, and training the dealer sales force to sell Advance, Clarke, and Viper Commercial equipment.
Call on and develop existing and prospective dealers within the region, maintaining a dealer prospect list and coordinating sales calls with the Regional Sales Director.
Maintain a customer database.
Field Sales Management & End‑User Account Development
Maintain a list of the largest end‑users in the region.
Integrate daily sales call activities into Salesforce.com.
Make daily sales calls on key end‑users to drive new project starts and increase market share.
Track and manage new project starts via the sales pipeline in Salesforce.com.
Perform building surveys and product demonstrations.
Utilize all sales tools and resources to ensure successful project completion.
Focus on displacing competing machine lines within dealerships and develop single‑source relationships with dealers.
Effective Communication
Communicate product information to all dealers promptly and accurately.
Coordinate sales efforts with National Accounts through National Account Managers and Government Account Managers.
Perform field tests in support of product management teams.
Relationship with All Market Segments
Forge long‑lasting, profitable relationships with dealer partners.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent education.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the sanitary supply industry or a related industry, with a focus on dealer channel management and end‑user sales/account management.
Knowledge & Personal Attributes
Strong work ethic, initiative, and problem‑solving skills.
Mature business professional with necessary business acumen.
Strong selling and end‑user account management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Salesforce.com.
Effective time and territory management skills.
Solid problem‑solving skills, including gap analysis and action plan development.
Willingness to travel overnight as required.
Ability to transport products for demonstrations and conduct product seminars and presentations.
Physical ability to lift, stand for prolonged periods, and drive safely.
