Senior Account Sales Representative – Spectrum
Eligibility:
Must be able to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
Job Summary:
Sells products and services to customers in assigned areas and properties through door-to-door solicitation and by building relationships.
Responsibilities
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Meet established objectives relative to sales goals and increased sales volume and penetration through assigned leads and property portfolio.
Solicit residential customers through door-to-door solicitation, building relationships with property management and explaining available products and services.
Generate incremental revenue from existing customers by adding new or additional services or upgrades.
Respond to customer problems and complaints according to established company policy; follow through to ensure issues are satisfactorily resolved.
Maintain a well-informed knowledge base of competitor activities throughout the assigned territory; inform manager of any changing competitive pricing programs or marketing directions.
Attend and actively contribute to sales meetings and training programs.
Accurately complete all necessary paperwork to support sales activities in a manner consistent with quality control guidelines, including dispositions, sales orders, and sales reporting.
Collect and account for funds and provide receipts according to company policy and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Knowledge of cold‑call sales skills, persuasion, and clear communication.
Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle.
Ability to work outside for extended periods in any season and/or during inclement weather.
Familiarity with computer operating systems, consumer and commercial communication devices (e.g., PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, converters, and wireless devices), and software applications.
Ability to complete documentation accurately.
Ability to build mutually beneficial relationships with all management at assigned properties.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Related Work Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience in sales or customer service.
Certifications and/or Licenses:
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record within company required standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to maintain a high level of self‑motivation.
Ability to maintain favorable relations with subscribers, vendors, and employees within the service area.
Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on data networking fundamentals.
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
Ability to use personal computer and software applications.
Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services.
Experience with consumer education of products and services.
Working Conditions
Office environment and/or outside environment with exposure to inclement weather.
Must be able to lift 10–20 pounds for 20–30 feet.
Exposure to moderate noise levels.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Variable hours: may include weekends, holidays, and split days off.
