About the Role Canon USA is seeking a Copier Account Executive to serve the Mid‑West and Southeast regions. The role focuses on developing strategies to increase sales within the Dealer Sales Channel and among end users. Responsibilities include fostering strong business relationships with assigned dealers and their branches, communicating with Fortune‑500 executives, delivering high‑level sales strategies and ROI analyses, providing technical expertise for hardware and software selection, managing dealer accounts, coordinating product launches and trade‑show events, and applying company policies to resolve routine issues.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies with key decision makers in the Dealer Sales Channel and end users.
Communicate effectively with Fortune‑500 executives (CEO, CIO, CFO) to present high‑level sales strategies, ROI, and technical workflow analysis.
Provide technical knowledge that enables detailed analysis and recommendation of hardware and software solutions.
Manage dealer accounts and territories, implement marketing programs, and support dealer education.
Conduct introductory sales calls and assist with proposal development and bid support.
Coordinate product launches and equipment/software updates with the Dealer Sales Channel.
Plan and execute events and trade‑shows.
Apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine and occasional complex issues.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; 3–5 years of related experience.
Experience with copier sales/A3 market and B2B retail‑sales or dealer experience.
Direct sales to end users required.
CompTIA CDIA/CDIA+ and/or CompTIA Network+ certifications are a plus.
5+ years in sales or sales support within the industry.
Expected travel >75% of the time within assigned regions.
Valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record for company business.
Compensation Annual salary range: $69,300 – $103,770. Eligible for commissions under the applicable plan.
Workstyle Virtual position; may be required to report to the office on a case‑by‑case basis. Frequent overnight travel is expected.
