Position Summary As a Sales Estimator for us, you will be responsible for estimating mitigation work relating to fire, flood and other losses occurring to residential or commercial properties. You will work in close contact with insurance companies, adjusters, and property owners to assure the project is bid accurately and competitively. You will build long‑term relationships with adjusters and insurance companies to assure that job opportunities are referred to you for estimating.
Essential Functions This position will allow you to interact with both commercial and residential property owners, insurance adjusters, and TPAs. You will have the opportunity to work on projects ranging from a few thousand dollars up to multi‑million dollars. With this position, your earnings potential is only capped by your own drive and hard work.
Experience And Skill Requirements
Minimum of two years hands‑on experience estimating both residential and commercial mitigation projects.
Strong organizational skills and team orientation.
Xactimate software estimating experience is highly preferred.
Ability to communicate with property owners, both residential and commercial.
Experience with time and material estimating is helpful.
Compensation As a Sales Estimator - PJC you will receive a guaranteed base plus commissions based on each project’s profitability. Compensation will vary by experience level and can be discussed during the first interview. In addition, you will be provided with a company vehicle, gas card, EZ pass or toll tag, laptop, smartphone, and all the tools needed to assure success. We provide fully paid employee medical insurance, optional dental and optical, a 401(k) plan and more.
