Job Summary We are seeking a results‑oriented Inside Sales Representative in Raleigh, NC to sell NetApp's products, systems, and services via telephone or electronic means to customers in an assigned territory, industry, or accounts with the focus on acquiring new customers, retaining, and growing the existing installed base.
Key Responsibilities
Assigned to a set of accounts across a specific territory
Work directly over the phone with customers and partners to drive preference to NetApp and capture sales
Understand customer’s business requirements and articulate NetApp’s value to the customer
Position NetApp value proposition tailored to audience needs
Support the partner to quote tech refresh, products, service upgrades, and renewal options
Work independently on managing and closing opportunities
Act as the first point of contact within the sales organization for existing and new customers when calling with product questions
Use tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator, and other prospecting tools to find contacts within potential customers to outbound and email
Find opportunities to expand within existing, but also new accounts (cold calling) in assigned territory
Maintain installed base and contact data in the CRM system
Identify partner capability gaps and coordinate with channel organization to address these gaps
Work with the channel organization and key partners to create territory plans and co‑sell into prospective customers
Develop plans with field marketing functions to determine opportunities for events and campaigns to drive pipeline generation
Prepare and submit forecast reports
Achieve and track weekly sales activities such as outbound, contact capture, opportunity, and pipeline development and enter into a CRM
Key Requirements
0–1 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, or related fields
Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions and business values
Familiarity with prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Navigator
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Prior exposure to working on a variety of technologies/concepts in a distributed environment
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
Must be onsite in our RTP office 5 days a week to ensure effective collaboration
Compensation The target salary range for this position is $76,500 – $99,000 USD. Final compensation packages are competitive and may vary based on location, qualifications, experience, and education. The range is based on On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary and potential commission.
