Responsibilities
Participate in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn White Cap’s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, and sales approach.
Prepare and execute account plans.
Sell White Cap value proposition and products.
Learn about effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.
Enter and process customer orders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Operate a company vehicle or a personal vehicle consistently more than 80% of the work week; MVR report required.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or 1–2 years of sales or related experience.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with team members.
Self‑governance, proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence.
Competitive nature with drive to succeed.
Goal‑oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics.
Open to feedback and willing to improve performance.
Ability to plan and organize daily activities.
Spanish language proficiency.
