Pay range: $69,000 - $102,000 yearly (commensurate with experience)
Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic partner to develop and sustain long‑lasting relationships with existing and prospective customers through effective negotiation in a designated territory.
Identify sales strategy to meet targets that promote long‑term profitability.
Develop and execute evidence‑based sales plans to meet objectives.
Travel to businesses to conduct sales presentations.
Deliver clear, compelling, and concise messages that help resolve client concerns.
Maintain detailed records on key accounts within a CRM system.
Present in‑depth reports to the Director of Sales and other stakeholders as required.
Conduct regular market research to stay updated on consumer needs, competitor activities, and the marketplace.
Participate in industry events to refine skills and maintain mutually beneficial relationships.
Understand key financial indicators and their implications.
Experiment with new solutions by evaluating pros, cons, risks and benefits.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/G.E.D. required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
5+ years of outside sales experience and demonstrable experience as a territory account manager.
Willingness to travel to current and prospective customers as required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Industrial gas or welding experience preferred.
Track record of exceeding goals.
Capacity to adapt quickly to changing conditions.
High standards of honesty and integrity.
Commitment to safety and a strong safety culture.
