We are seeking an Account Executive to join our growing team in Austin, or another key Edelman office hub, to help us realize this vision and drive our industry forward. A great Account Executive on the Edelman Technology team is somewhat of a unicorn: someone who understands a wide array of technologies, knows how to reach a variety of consumer and business audiences, and has an appetite to own and drive integrated communications marketing campaigns that win awards. This is no ordinary technology communications role. The Account Executive is responsible for supervising account work performed by junior staff and supporting integrated teams in executing communications marketing processes and approaches. Responsibilities

Coordinate and help plan media outreach programs, including tours, events, conferences, interviews, new media outreach, and strategic coverage flagging. Demonstrate tactical and strategic knowledge of integrated communications marketing principles and contribute to communications marketing plans that meet client objectives. Apply key client information, including business strategy, industry trends and issues, products and services, key opinion leaders, customers, and competitors. Demonstrate a practical understanding of social media and the digital landscape, and incorporate these into client programs. Manage projects for multiple clients from concept to completion by anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, providing client counsel, overseeing quality, and ensuring deadlines are met. Basic Qualifications

At least one year of experience in communications, marketing, or related fields. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications

Proven ability to manage multiple small to medium sized projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail. Clear understanding of clients’ businesses and missions, and their key stakeholders, including consumers, employees, investors, regulators, media, vendors, partners, and other organizations. Fluency in AI and willingness to learn and apply AI to workflows. Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast paced environment and collaborate effectively as a team player. Strong research, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to interact with clients professionally and maintain media relationships. $55,000 - $65,000 per year. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
