Exact Sciences – Screening Solutions Specialist
Position Overview: Exact Sciences is a leader in cancer prevention, detection, and treatment guidance. The Screening Solutions Specialist (SSS) is a front‑line role that drives product growth of Cologuard in medical practices, builds relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), and enhances patient outcomes through integrated screening solutions.
Responsibilities
Generate deep insight into local healthcare ecosystems and market landscape to identify opportunities to enhance the system of care and deliver improved patient outcomes.
Analyze the treatment journey across the local system of care to identify account opportunities and support HCPs in improving clinical decision making.
Build a network of relationships within accounts, capture insights in CRM, and synthesize data from formal and informal sources to focus effort and identify opportunities.
Develop and implement business and account plans to increase visibility and drive sales growth of Cologuard and other Exact Sciences solutions.
Lead execution of customer‑specific pre‑ and post‑call engagement approaches, collaborating with Screening Advocate, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and other stakeholders.
Inform, educate, and enable target physician and stakeholder groups about exact sciences products, value propositions, and the importance of colorectal cancer screening.
Proactively drive business growth by focusing on high‑potential customers and uncovering unmet needs and opportunities.
Ensure successful implementation of account plans through collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders, enhancing customer satisfaction and patient outcomes.
Communicate clear customer needs and opportunities internally to mobilize resources and shape solutions.
Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards in all interactions, consistent with Exact Sciences policies and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Maintain reliable attendance, an inclusion mindset, and readiness for local travel, including overnight trips when required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
2+ years of prior sales, inside sales, or account management experience, or 1+ year of sales experience with 1+ year in a healthcare setting.
Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in the last 36 months; no violent incidents involving vehicle within 36 months.
Ability to meet healthcare facility access requirements (vaccination, mask, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
Current authorization to work in the country of employment; no sponsorship provided.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in sales of medical devices or diagnostics.
Experience targeting primary care physicians or similar customers.
Background in commission‑based, tangible product sales.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM tools.
Strong empathy, active listening, and conflict mediation skills.
Organizational and proactive problem‑solving abilities in complex, ambiguous environments.
Capacity to work independently and manage workload and priorities.
Benefits & Compensation Salary Range: $79,000.00 – $118,000.00 (US – NV – Las Vegas) with bonus eligibility.
