We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead, develop, and coach a team of sales professionals. Your primary objective will be to grow territories, identify prospects, build relationships with new and existing clients, and close business across our full line of hardware, software, solutions, and services. You must achieve 100% of quota by managing a high‑performing team.
Responsibilities
Manage a team of 4 to 8 sales reps.
Lead, motivate, and counsel the team to meet or exceed budgeted sales revenue, gross profit, unit placement, expense, and equipment contribution projections while maintaining teamwork and customer service excellence.
Ensure the team meets minimum sales and prospecting activity levels.
Coach team members to use the company CRM system for accurate entry of companies, contacts, and activity, ensuring opportunities are managed correctly through each funnel stage.
Conduct weekly sales meetings to review activity, attainment, prospecting, and best practices.
Collaborate with the team to develop territory strategy, account and contact identification, and a robust sales funnel sufficient to achieve assigned quota.
Plan, coach, train, advise, and review individual sales representatives’ progress toward revenue targets and assist them in career planning and development.
Recommend and facilitate appropriate development opportunities.
Schedule and host periodic informational team meetings and team‑building exercises, supporting and advocating headquarters initiatives.
Promote a team‑based, inclusive work environment to drive sales, employee engagement, and customer retention.
Build account structure and territories for sales representatives.
Collaborate with customers and internal staff to resolve issues and complaints.
Proactively build an internal and external pipeline of sales representatives and introduce products and services via outreach.
Facilitate communication and cooperation between teams and marketplace partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the Office Technology Industry.
Proficiency in MS Office products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership skills and a desire to develop and lead a high‑performing sales team.
Motivated to learn new technology in an evolving industry with excellent time‑management abilities.
Preferred
Direct sales leadership experience of multiple teams in the office equipment/imaging market.
Working knowledge of Compass Sherpa and eAutomate.
Social media/marketing savvy.
