Responsibilities
The Sr. KAM is a salesperson responsible for meeting sales quotas and expense budgets for assigned clients by managing sales programs, promotional spending, distribution levels, shelf placement and strategic planning initiatives.
Our clients are manufacturers, vendors, or brands contracted by Advantage; our customers are retailers, wholesalers, or distributors to whom we sell the clients’ brands.
Collaborate with clients to develop strategic plans, work with retailer associates (buyers, category managers, replenishment managers, etc.) on headquarters calls to implement programs.
Own the relationship with clients; decide on trade‑fund spending to drive sales; sign, implement, and execute contracts on behalf of clients.
Work closely with internal Advantage associates (Customer Managers, order entry, claims, category management, schematics, retail associates) to increase sales volume; may serve one or multiple clients, covering customer relations and implementation.
Clients include Pioneering (no distribution), Regional (non‑national contracts), or Tier 3 (minimal volume, SKU counts, commission revenue) manufacturers.
