Description As a Commercial Lines Account Coordinator within the Shepherd family, you will assist account managers and insurance advisors in handling and processing new and renewal commercial lines business in accordance with agency procedures and guidelines. You will provide a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing commercial accounts. Your role also includes delivering excellent customer service to clients as requested.

Responsibilities

Provide positive, prompt, accurate, and courteous service to account managers and clients as necessary.

Maintain electronic and/or paper files in an orderly, up‑to‑date manner.

Check manual policies, order loss runs, issue renewal binders, invoices, ID cards, and certificates.

Receive any downloads and communications from carriers that need forwarding to others; also receive physical mail and faxes for commercial accounts.

Scan and file documents in Image Right.

Maintain all client activity in AMS 360, run suspense lists, follow procedures, and work through download reports.

Assist in new business workflow.

Receive change requests for endorsements and issue all on‑demand certificates.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar position is desirable.

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. College degree is preferred but not necessary.

Familiarity with a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and agency/document management systems.
