Construction Equipment Sales Representative
Monroe Tractor, a family‑owned construction and agricultural equipment dealer with 18 locations across New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, has a 70‑year legacy of serving over 15,000 customers. We pride ourselves on best‑in‑class sales and support.
This role involves selling wholesale construction equipment to prospective customers in the assigned territory of Niagara/Northern Erie counties. Successful representatives build long‑lasting customer relationships, assist with equipment management, and serve as a resource for product issues, aiming to increase sales, profit, and productivity.
Pay:
$50,000 – $65,000 base annual salary plus uncapped commission. Many Sales Reps average an annual income of $150,000 and exceed this figure.

Qualifications
Prior experience with heavy agricultural equipment and/or construction equipment.
Proven sales success in which goals were achieved or exceeded.
Problem‑solving skills.
Strong independent work ethic, able to collaborate with internal staff to achieve individual as well as branch goals.
Excellent customer service skills; a builder of relationships.
Clear and concise communications.
A strong sense of urgency, focusing on time & territory management.
Strong computer skills with priority on Microsoft Office programs.
Responsibilities
Identify and engage prospective customers and offer assistance or direction to those who could benefit from our services.
Assist customers by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers.
Describe all equipment options available for customer purchases.
Build strong rapport and life‑long relationships with customers.
Effectively overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
Actively use and update the Client Relationship Management System (CRM).
