Facility Solutions Manager – City Wide Facility Solutions
City Wide Facility Solutions is actively seeking a Facility Solutions Manager for our franchise location in Metro New Jersey.
Pay Range Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr.
Job Overview This role manages the business operations of an assigned client contracted service area. The position is an outside B2B account management role providing field support including training, guidance with new clients, inspections of contractor performance, compliance with client requirements, troubleshooting, coordinating site visits, and developing long‑term relationships with clients and contractors. Additional responsibilities include negotiating contracts, procuring supplies, and ensuring high client satisfaction.
What you will do
Manage all aspects of assigned client relationships, including retention, expansion, and diversification of City Wide building solutions.
Formulate and manage an effective service strategy and schedule tailored to each client.
Negotiate and enter into agreements with clients for additional services, determining pricing, staffing, and logistics.
Manage all contractor relationships: interview and hire, negotiate pricing, maintain agreements, develop service specifications, verify compliance, and remove/replace contractors as necessary.
Ensure a standard of excellence in quality and client satisfaction through detailed inspections and consistent follow‑through.
Supervise and direct Night Managers to execute the client strategy and correctly perform services.
Promote the sale of, procure, and monitor supplies for clients.
Effectively communicate client issues with contractors and the Director of Operations, promptly addressing any problems.
Use City Wide’s CRM to perform client inspections, add extra charges, route Night Managers, etc.
Schedule non‑routine activities in client facilities using Outlook.
Update and keep current Building Information Sheets, FSM Summary Sheets, and Exhibit A’s. Ensure MSDS sheets are complete, accurate, and properly labeled.
Notify Sales Executives of potential accounts in your territory, especially new construction.
Develop and implement a plan with the Director of Operations and Night Managers to resolve client complaints or deficiencies and actively monitor compliance.
Approve Night Managers’ and/or Service Representative pay sheets, ensuring accuracy.
Assist Accounting in collecting clients’ past‑due invoices and payment invoices for contractors.
Maintain updated route sheets, key/alarm sheets, and monthly planners for each client.
Requirements
3+ years of outside B2B account management experience; building maintenance or facility management preferred.
3+ years of success in a client retention role with measurable goals and metrics.
Highly detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑through on commitments.
Positive, outgoing personality; strong at building relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable of CRM databases.
Ability to travel daily to client locations locally.
