General Function The Sales Associate creates an outstanding optical experience for guests by combining knowledge, experience, personality, and the guests’ needs with our high‑quality fashion brands.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
Utilize optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements, helping customers choose the perfect vision solution.
Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an optician as needed.
Actively participate in a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
Take pride in the appearance of the store, showing initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
Help foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems, computers, and calculators with basic phone and math skills.
Embrace new technology and change with a high level of accuracy.
Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
Self‑motivated with a demonstrated ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
Benefits and Compensation Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements.
