Responsibilities
Learn through on‑the‑job training to safely perform all aspects of arboriculture, including pruning trees, rigging, cabling and bracing, removal of hazardous trees, and proper maintenance and operation of equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
Implement work‑zone safety procedures and assist arborist climbers and crew leaders on the ground and aloft
Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties
Learn, understand, and adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies
Maintain a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to participate within a multi‑disciplinary team
Qualifications
Passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
Interest in working outdoors year‑round, performing manual labor in all weather conditions
Valid driver’s license
Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture experience preferred but not required
Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred but not required
