Base Pay Range:
$20.00/hr - $25.00/hr
Overview The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments. This role oversees all aspects of environmental services to ensure the facility is kept clean, safe, and comfortable for residents, visitors, and employees. The Director also ensures life safety and participates in facility surveys and inspections.
Responsibilities
Coordinate housekeeping services with other related departments.
Maintain appropriate stock levels of housekeeping supplies to support a clean and safe environment.
Provide reports and recommendations to the Administrator regarding the operation of the housekeeping department.
Participate in facility surveys (inspections) conducted by authorized government agencies.
Perform regular inspections of resident rooms/units for sanitation, order, safety, and correct performance of assigned duties.
Qualifications
Knowledgeable in housekeeping practices and procedures.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.
Strong leadership ability and willingness to collaborate with and supervise personnel.
