We are looking for an experienced Institutional Account Executive to join our Sales team. This is a new business role selling SaaS software to crypto-native and traditional banks, exchanges, and custodians.

As a Sales Account Executive, you will manage the sales cycle from A to Z including discovery calls, product demos, scoping discussions, proposal reviews, and contract negotiations. You should showcase an ability to understand your prospect’s needs and effectively communicate Bitwave’s unique value propositions.

Ultimately, you should contribute to an increase in revenue and maintain our company-client relationships at a high standard.

Institutional Sales Account Executive responsibilities are:

Develop, nurture, and close a pipeline of new business opportunities

Generate new outbound leads in your assigned target market

Handle inbound leads in your assigned target market

Partner with SDRs to create compelling campaigns in your target market

Conduct compelling demos and effectively articulate Bitwave’s unique value proposition

Effectively scope and negotiate contracts with prospects

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Bitwave solution and stay updated on upcoming product releases and industry trends

Maintain accurate data and reporting of your pipeline

Suggest and implement new ideas

Institutional Sales Account Executive requirements are:

Demonstrated success in a similar Sales Account Executive role

Experience selling to C-suite level roles at traditional financial institutions

Ability to build a targeted list of prospects and clients while fostering long-term relationships

Exceptional communication, analytical, and negotiation skills

Strong strategic selling acumen

Familiarity with basic accounting principles and a desire to develop expertise

A deep interest in blockchain technology and crypto (Tokenization, DeFi, web3)

Desire to work in a fast paced, tech start-up environment is required

Located in the NYC metropolitan area - relocation is not available for this role
