Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary up to $90,000, commensurate with experience.
Generous PTO including 30 days plus Jewish and federal holidays.
Flexible hybrid schedule: September‑March (two WFH days per week), April‑August (onsite as needed during the camp season).
Additional benefits include free camper tuition, a healthcare stipend, and professional development opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
Leadership and Strategy : Own the camp program, ensuring alignment with mission, vision, and values; champion innovative programming across preschool to high school age groups; energize campers, families, staff, and community.
Camp Management : Oversee administration and coordination of all camp functions; manage inspections, licensing, accreditation and regulatory compliance; develop and manage the camp budget.
Camper Recruitment : Develop and execute strategies to increase enrollment and strengthen year‑round community engagement; serve as primary contact for parents; collaborate with Creative Director on promotional materials.
Staff Supervision & Development : Recruit, hire, train, supervise seasonal staff and leaders; plan training, development, and orientation; foster an inclusive environment.
Community Engagement : Lead recruitment events, open houses, outreach; partner with the Executive Director on fundraising and presentations.
Additional Candidate Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a day camp or youth program setting.
Demonstrated success in program development, recruitment and operations management.
Strong budgeting and fiscal management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation abilities.
Organized, adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of Jewish culture and traditions; prior experience in Jewish programming preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with CRMs and Campsite software a plus.
Sense of humor and willingness to get involved!
