Waldorf Astoria Orlando is a 4-Star luxury hotel located in the heart of Orlando, Florida, adjacent to Walt Disney Resort. The hotel features 502 rooms, 30,000 sq ft of banquet space and seven food and beverage outlets, including three restaurants, two bars, a pool, and in-room dining.
Position: Sous Chef – Full‑time, classification: Full‑time. Shift: Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Chef with direction and oversight of all culinary operations, including preparation and production of all hotel meals, food quality and presentation, compliance with safety, sanitation and regulation standards, and overall profitability.
Create and implement menu selections for special banquet themes and events, in partnership with the Executive Chef and the Director of Food & Beverage.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol‑awareness standards.
Monitor and develop team‑member performance: supervise, counsel, evaluate, train, schedule, assign work and deliver recognition and reward.
