Overview The Branch Sales Manager supports a branch in attaining sales goals and branch revenue objectives. They improve the productivity of the assigned group of sales colleagues for residential products and services, provide mentoring and coaching to field sales professionals, and maximize performance within the defined market.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Hire, onboard, train, manage & engage a team of frontline sales colleagues in a designated area.

Support collaboration between Sales and Operations, aligning goals and driving performance.

Lead weekly team meetings to monitor performance and focus on skill development.

Provide ongoing technical training on services offered in the assigned territory as needed.

Facilitate weekly, monthly and quarterly one‑on‑one debriefs to build effective communication and identify training needs.

Ensure the team meets or exceeds all activity standards for Field Sales Colleague performance and other selected KPIs.

Set a strong example for the team in personal character, commitment, organization, selling skills and work habits.

Monitor progress against revenue objectives; jointly accountable with Operations for APITDA realization.

Monitor sales start rates through key relationships with Operational Leadership.

Serve as steward of the Rentokil‑Terminix business model to ensure company programs and initiatives are delivered with excellence at the branch level.

Monitor, coach and develop the team to create effective growth and development.

Plan, organize and order any job‑related items for new hires.

Work with new hires to evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement in the field and provide constructive feedback.

Communicate training needs to leadership for continuous improvement.

Increase unit sales and dollars by implementing, teaching and enforcing company sales practices.

Work in the field daily with sales colleagues and maintain minimum sales activity requirements.

Ensure creative and methodically sound sales programs, proper use of sales materials and inventory of sales materials.

Set an excellent management example and quality image.

Required Qualifications

Skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to perform basic business mathematics and analyze sales data.

Ability to acquire licenses/certificates as required by federal, state or local agencies.

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications

At least one (1) year of Rentokil‑Terminix experience in the designated field with RTX.

High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations.

Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Physical Demands / Environmental Conditions

Move up to 20 lbs. by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects.

Sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

Work in damp and/or dusty locations, confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.

Use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.

Operate a motor vehicle safely.

Maintain vehicle and other equipment clean and safe.

Wear personal protective equipment, including OSHA‑compliant respirators.

Perform detail‑oriented activities at close range.

Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather (extreme heat/cold).

Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on‑call rotations (up to 50‑60 hours/week during peak season).

Travel Requirement

Travel up to 100 % of time within assigned territory(s).
