Permanent Account Manager Location: Richmond, VA

Base pay range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain a portfolio of clients in the accounting and finance industry.

Utilize CRM tools for tracking customer interactions and providing customers with strategic solutions.

Present proofs for customer approval and provide samples as needed.

Conduct onsite customer service, including strategy sessions and plant tours.

Audit and update open sales orders and finished goods inventory.

Showcase your knowledge of packaging options, including folding cartons, stock packaging options, rigid boxes, Specialty Merchandise/POP, Fluted boxes, stickers & labels, and marketing collateral.

Develop and implement account management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Proactively identify customer needs and provide suitable solutions.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and key issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.

Proficiency in CRM tools and other relevant software.

Strong understanding of packaging options, including folding cartons, stock packaging options, rigid boxes, Specialty Merchandise/POP, Fluted boxes, stickers & labels, and marketing collateral.

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of managing a diverse portfolio of clients.

Ability to conduct onsite customer service, including strategy sessions and plant tours.

Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients.

Knowledge of current market trends and competitor activities.

Proven ability to audit and update open sales orders and finished goods inventory.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
