Position Summary The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and executing the companywide sales strategy for Saber Power’s Field Services division. This role oversees all Service Sales Specialists and Account Managers across every region, ensuring consistent sales execution, exceptional customer experience, and strong alignment with operational and financial goals. The Regional Service Sales Manager serves as the senior leader for the entire Service Sales organization and drives performance, accountability, coaching, and long‑term growth.
Leadership & Oversight
Lead, develop, and manage the entire national Service Sales team, including all Service Sales Specialists and Account Managers.
Establish the overall sales strategy and annual targets for Saber’s Field Services business.
Drive nationwide revenue, margin, pipeline growth, and customer retention across Field Service & Specialty Services.
Ensure consistent application of Saber’s sales processes, quoting standards, and customer engagement expectations across all regions.
Team Management & Development
Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance management for all sales personnel.
Create clear KPIs for activity levels, quote cadence, forecasting accuracy, customer engagement, and pipeline health.
Identify skill gaps and implement professional development plans, training programs, and career progression pathways.
Partner with HR to recruit, hire, onboard, and retain high‑performing sales talent.
Client & Market Engagement
Maintain and influence executive‑level relationships with key national accounts, OEMs, EPCs, utilities, industrial clients, and channel partners.
Support sales personnel in securing strategic, multi‑site, and high‑value opportunities.
Monitor nationwide customer trends, competitive movements, and market conditions to inform strategy and positioning.
Represent Saber Power at major industry conferences and events.
Cross‑Functional Alignment
Collaborate closely with Field Service Operations, Engineering, Project Management, and Finance to ensure accurate scoping, pricing, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Partner with estimating, proposals, and legal teams to approve major opportunities and manage commercial risk.
Work with marketing and executive leadership to refine messaging, campaigns, and service offerings.
Forecasting, Reporting & Performance Management
Own Field Service forecasting for bookings, revenue, and backlog.
Provide accurate, timely reporting on sales metrics, pipeline status, and emerging opportunities for executive leadership.
Ensure compliance with pricing standards, contract policies, and corporate governance.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
10+ years of experience in industrial electrical services, field services, or power/utility markets.
5+ years of leadership experience managing multi‑region or national sales teams.
Strong understanding of NETA testing, electrical maintenance, construction support, and related service models.
Ability to travel up to 40 – 60 % of the time to corporate offices, customer sites, industry events, and all Saber Power regions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software.
