Field Sales Representative – West Hills, CA
The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a driven Field Sales Representative who excels at building relationships, generating new business, and delivering consistent results. Paint experience is not required. We provide the training; you bring the initiative.
In this role you will manage a Home Depot territory and be responsible for growing both Pro and DIY business. You will work directly with customers on the sales floor, identify new leads, strengthen existing accounts, and support contractors and professional buyers throughout the purchasing process. This position is ideal for competitive, resilient sales professionals who thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Proactively prospect and convert new Pro and DIY customers in store.
Build strong working relationships with Home Depot leadership to drive sales activity and train store associates on Glidden and Olympic products.
Engage contractors and Pro shoppers in store and within the community to uncover new opportunities.
Use CRM insights to develop territory plans that expand existing accounts and capture new business.
Increase product visibility through effective merchandising, including displays, bulk stacks, and end caps.
Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions.
Ensure inventory levels support sales activity and product availability.
Maintain color centers and participate in resets during product line reviews.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience in inside or outside sales, retail sales, or other customer‑facing roles.
