We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and grow our commercial and appliance customer accounts. The role involves providing OEM customers with relevant, value‑added product solutions, driving business growth, and contributing to future strategic planning and profitability objectives. The position will be based in the Mid‑West region and requires a confident individual contributor with strong self‑motivation, a demonstrated ability to deliver results, and experience in developing new accounts and expanding existing ones.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new relationships and manage/improve existing accounts, identifying areas to enhance customer satisfaction.
Grow profitable sales through implementation of marketing and promotional activities, working closely with product line managers to develop competitive pricing and margin strategies.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and marketplace activity.
Implement strategies to recognize new revenue and margin opportunities.
Manage all ongoing customer, commercial, and communication issues.
Formulate and develop a comprehensive business plan for each account, addressing sales growth, technology, market information, competitive insights, and pricing strategies.
Collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams to communicate customer goals and key performance metrics, and develop plans to meet or exceed those goals.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in key customer sales and business experience in the HVACR segment required; Engineering degree preferred.
At least 8 years of OEM account management experience in the HVACR Commercial and Appliance industry.
5+ years in a senior sales account management role.
A sense of urgency, passion for winning, and enthusiasm for converting big ideas into realistic, executable plans.
Comfortable presenting to management, sales teams, and customers.
Positive attitude and high energy for driving positive outcomes for the team and organization.
