OVERVIEW
Responsible for the Sales and Servicing of Safariland products to regional distributors, and end user accounts in the South Texas Territory.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Achievement of company revenue goals
Develop and implement strategic plans for tier 1 accounts
Report to the Director of Sales on a bi-weekly basis sales performance versus business plan results
Responsible for the training of distributor personnel to facilitate the sales and servicing of Safariland products to end users
Attend Product Trade Shows facilitating new business opportunities and improve customer relationships
Partner with cross functional teams to drive assigned projects to their successful conclusion as measured by OGSM metrics to include Channels, Pricing and Bid Operations, Customer Service, and Marketing
Deliver sales presentations to tier 1 and tier 2 accounts
Monitor and Control travel expenses within established budget parameters
Provide competitive market intelligence
Adhere to Safariland's Code of Conduct standards
Monitor and manage all test and evaluation expenses
Maintain a sample log across all products
KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organization, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Excellent financial and analytical skills
Demonstrated experience with CRM systems a plus
Ability to lead teams and work effectively as a team member
Ability to effectively work with all levels of the organization
Knowledge of distributor networks and contract bids processes
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite required in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, MapPoint, SharePoint & Word
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Business, or related field preferred
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60%
2+ years Sales or related experience OR 5+ years of Law Enforcement experience, especially with responsibilities evaluating and procuring equipment
Must reside within the South Texas Territory
