We're looking for a
Business Account Executive
to join our Commercial Sales team. You will be a solution seller, identifying opportunities to leverage TDS’s full complement of solutions and technology offerings—including hosted and premise‑based VoIP solutions, managed services, and web security. Your role will focus on uncovering customer needs, understanding key business drivers, and delivering compelling TDS solutions that meet business needs in a timely manner.
This position will have a prospecting territory of
Onalaska, WI to Tomah, WI
and is expected to be out in the field prospecting every day Monday‑Friday. *Targeted to make
$88,920+
per year (Base + Commission)*

Responsibilities
Identify, contact, and build relationships with prospective customers through telephone and in‑person cold calls, networking, and referrals to obtain appointments.
Meet or exceed sales growth targets by conducting calls to determine customer needs and effectively communicate TDS’s value proposition.
Maintain accurate and timely customer status and forecasts using the CRM system for all new prospective sales.
Leverage the TDS CRM to develop prospecting and sales strategies that ensure high activity and effective closing ratios.
Write and submit accurate and timely new orders following the established sales process.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of sales experience
1+ years of cold‑calling experience
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
Other Qualifications
Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
Proven ability to manage a territory using technology, prioritization, and time management skills.
Track record of success in business‑to‑business sales.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including convincing persuasion.
Access to a cell phone.
Ability to set goals clearly and effectively and then attain them, as evidenced by a track record.
Ability to work independently, making decisions and implementing them effectively.
Computer literacy (Excel, Word, email, Internet).
Ability to maintain quota levels.

Pay Transparency The listed salary includes both base pay and potential earnings from meeting sales quotas. The final offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and role‑specific competencies. With our uncapped commission incentives, you’ll have unlimited earning potential.
Pay Range (Yr.) $79,000.00 – $128,400.00
