Overview HP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an HP Retail Sales Associate in your area. In this role, you will assist in driving sales and create buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in your local big‑box retailer(s). You will demonstrate products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs, build rapport with customers, and maintain professional relationships with store management and employees.

Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within the assigned store
Train retail store associates on HP products and services
Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo readiness

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
1-year job experience required
Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
Demonstrated knowledge of HP products and services
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills
Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment
Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
Be a problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiast
Have an outgoing personality and be eager to learn
Be comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training
Ability to engage in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs
Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech or wireless a plus
Training or product demonstration experience a plus

Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees
Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance
Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products to fit those needs
Advise customers by providing information on products and services
Help customers make selections by building customer confidence
Accurately document and report sales
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations
Ensure workstation/kiosk is clean, well‑organized, functional and presentable at all times
Responsible for submitting all paperwork completely and accurately
Performance Measurements
Regular and prompt attendance
Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota/goals
Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints
