What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Develop and nurture relationships with key decision‑makers in metropolitan areas and state governments

Align security and identity solutions with regional priorities and digital transformation efforts

Manage procurement processes and contracts relevant to state and local governments

Proactively identify and qualify new opportunities within the SLED market

Maintain an active presence in major hubs, requiring frequent travel to engage with customers and partners

What is Required (Qualifications)

Proven success in navigating and closing deals using state and local cooperative contracts

Proficiency in identifying key SLED funding streams and budget mechanisms

Experience managing complex, multi‑state public sector accounts

Background in selling to the education sector, particularly large public universities and K‑12 districts

Exceptional communication skills, capable of interacting with C‑level executives and SLED leadership

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in the procurement process specific to state and local government contracts

Strong understanding of Northeast political landscapes and legislative cycles

Entrepreneurial spirit and a collaborative approach to achieving success

Well‑developed relationship‑building skills and cross‑functional influence

Familiarity with utilizing CRM tools for sales pipeline management
